The Health Care of Obaminations — Time for Nullification
Democrats have just provided us with the largest expansion of the welfare state since Republicans did the same under George W Bush. But why, exactly, is Obamacare so atrocious?
For one, it represents a transfer of wealth. The many are taxed to pay for health insurance premiums for the few. Thirty-five million people (and Big Insurance) will enjoy the benefits of the money earned by the over two hundred million who actually worked for it.
Well of course they support it…
The health insurance industry announced its support for Obamacare. Gee, what a surprise. It wants the federal government to create more than 30 million new customers. What a parcel of rogues for a nation!

Fascism Is Alive and Well
As all doubtlessly know by now, Obamacare passed the House of Representatives Sunday night. Barring a miracle, it will pass the Senate and will be signed into law by our beloved president. The overwhelming majority of Americans oppose this bill, and rightly so.
Most of the critics of the bill deride it as socialized medicine. Actually, that’s not true; it is fascist health care. The economic component of fascism, otherwise known as corporatism, rests on collusion between the government and corporations. Or as one commentator once wrote… fascism exists when Big Business and Big Government walk into a hotel room, draw the curtains, and emerge an hour later smoking a cigarette. That may be a bit tawdry, but it is accurate all the same.
The Libertarian Revolution
Watch this great interview between Andrew Napolitano and Reason‘s Nick Gillespie on the future of the libertarian movement. They demonstrate that both parties have incrased the size and scope of government power, even Reagan and St Lincoln. Only libertarianism protects individual rights and promotes social-cultural-economic progress. As the great libertarian writers of the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries understood, a free society enjoys liberty, prosperity, peace, and civilization. Big Government tyranny leads to slavery, stagnation, war, and barbarism. May God save us from bipartisan tyrants.

Federal Reserve Transparency Act Reaches Majority Sponsorship
As of today, Ron Paul‘s Federal Reserve Transparency Bill has received its 222nd co-sponsor. It only takes 218 to pass, so presumably the bill should pass the House. We now need to work on the Senate.
The idea that the Fed should continue to operate in complete secrecy is baffling. Consider this: Big Government and Big Business enjoy an incestuous relationship….The Chairman of the Fed can (and does) expand the money supply at will…. The Fed rigs the banking industry……all in secret. Congress literally is not entitled to demand information. It’s hard to imagine something more inimical to republican government.
Pravda Decries American Marxism
Amazing. Pravda was the offical mouthpiece of the Communist Party in the Soviet days. Those writers know Marxism when they see it.

Timid Rebels
While the outbreak of the Tea Parties is exciting, I cannot help but be under-whelmed by this supposed radical resistance to Obama.
Where were all these protesters when Bush and a Republican Congress drove up record-level deficits? Or when Bush bailed out Big Business and Big Banks? Or when Bush escalated the government’s assaults on liberties? Or when Bush drove us into two destructive wars?
What, exactly, is the message of the protestors? Obama is awful and destructive, but Bush was acceptable?
